Azerbaijan Opens Submissions For Eurovision 2025

Ictimati TV, the national broadcaster of Azerbaijan, has confirmed the country will take part in Eurovision 2025, via a post on social media:

Moreover, the national broadcaster has already opened the submission window for Eurovision 2025:

  • Submission will be sent online via an e-mail to song@eurovision.az
  • The submission window will close on the 15th of September 2024.
  • The song mustn’t be released before September 1st, 2024.
  • Each submission must include mp3 in 192 kbps file, short biography of the singer, photos of the singers and details about the writers.
  • The maximal song duration is 3 minutes.
  • The national broadcaster has the right to make some changes in the shortlisted songs.

The selection method hasn’t been specified yet.
However, relying on recent patterns, Azerbaijan is most likely to select the Eurovision entry and song via an internal selection, as has been done since 2015.

Fahree ft. Ilkin represented Azerbaijan at Eurovision 2024 with the song “Özünlə Apar”.
They finished in 14th place with 11 points in semi-final 1, failing to qualify for the final.
