Cyprus: Eurovision 2025 Entrant Has Reportedly Been Selected

Back in July 2024, Cyprus confirmed its participation in Eurovision 2025.
Earlier today, the Greek website Ieidiseis shed light about the selection for Eurovision 2025.

Based on their report, we learn that the Cypriot broadcaster RIK (also known as CyBC) has already made its choice!
The selection process has been managed in several phases and ended in selecting both the artist and the entry for Eurovision 2025.
As it has been hinted in the past, one of the aims was to select an artist who is based in Cyprus (in contrast to recent years).

Indeed, Cyprus will be represented by a young male artist who is based in Cyprus.
The artist is said to have a strong musical identity and a solid background of music studies abroad.

The official announcement is expected to take place in early September 2024, while the song will be revealed during the first quarter of 2025.

Silia Kapsis represented Cyprus at Eurovision 2024 with the song “Liar”.
She finished in 15th place with 78 points

Eurovision 2025 will be held in Switzerland.

Doron Lahav is 30-year-old, who lives in Israel. Doron has been watching the Eurovision Song Contest since early 2000s. Doron works as a Data Scientist and shows interest in singing and writing.
