“Luxembourg Song Contest” Will Be Held On January 25th

Book your calendars! RTL Luxembourg has just announced the date when the national selection for Eurovision 2025 will take place:
“The Luxembourg Song Contest 2025” will be held on the 25th of January 2025, at Rockhal in Esch-Belval.

“The Luxembourg Song Contest 2025” – Known Details

  1. The submission window opened on July 1st and will close on October 6th, 2024.
  2. Submission will be sent online via the RTL website
  3. Interested singers will face live auditions, and a few of them will be selected to proceed by an international jury.
  4. There are 2 registration paths, one for singers and one for songs
  5. Interested singers will have to meet the following conditions:
    • At least 16 years old by January 2025
    • Available for auditions, rehearsals and derived projects between November 2024 and May 2025
    • Holds Luxembourg nationality or have lived in Luxembourg for 3 consecutive years, or linked to the local culture.
    • Ability to perform live, with the presence of audience
    • In case of groups, at least one of the members might meet the mentioned conditions.
  6. Submitted songs will have to meet the following criteria:
    • Haven’t been published prior to September 1st 2024
    • The maximum duration is 3 minutes.
    • Each artist can submit up to 5 songs
    • No language limitations
  7. The final will be a live televised show, where the results will be decided by public vote and international jury.


Tali represented Luxembourg at Eurovision 2024 with the song “Fighter“.
She finished in 13th place with 103 points

Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th and 17th of May 2025
