Ukraine: Artem Kotenko Will Perform “Dim” at JESC 2024

Ukraine has just selected its song and artist for Junior Eurovision 2024.
National broadcaster Suspilne organized the national selection.
6acts competed to represent the country in Madrid in November 2024

The line-up was:

  1. Anastasiia Belibova (Анастасія Бєлібова) – Unbelievable
  2. Angelina Hlohuz (Ангеліна Глогусь) – Плачуть янголи (Plachut yanholy)
  3. Zlata Ivaniv (Злата Іванів) – НАМИСТО (Namysto)
  4. Veronika Kohan (Вероніка Коган) – Harmony
  5. Illia Konovchenko (Ілля Коновченко) – SPACESHIP
  6. Artem Kotenko (Артем Котенко) – ДІМ (Dim)

The Results

The results were based on a 50% jury panel vote and a 50% publci vote
Each panel granted a set 1-6 points:

Artem got 5 points from the jury, and 6 points from the public.
Meanwhile, Zlata Ivaniv got 6 points from the jury, and 5 points from the public.
Based on the selection rules, priority is given to the public vote.

Anastasia Dymyd represented Ukraine in Junior Eurovision 2023 with “Kvitka“.
She ended up in 5th place:

The 22nd edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, organized by the EBU, will take place in Madrid, Spain on 16th November 2024.
