As we reported in late July, Kan will collaborate with Keshet12 (one of the commercial channels in Israel) to choose the artist for Eurovision 2025.
The selection will be made through “Hakohav Haba La’Eurovision.
Israeli channel Keshet 12 has already started preparations for Eurovision 2025.
First of all, the interested artists performed in closed auditions.
Those who qualify continue to studio auditions in front of an audience.
The first part of the audience auditions took place on October 10th 2024.
Keshet 12 plans to start broadcasting the auditions in November 2024.
The hosts of the new season (the 11th) will be Asi Azar and Rotem Sela.
The duo have hosted the show together ever since the 2nd season.

He is also well-known for being one of the hosts of Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv
The jury panel remains the same as the 2024 edition:
The line-up of the jury panel has been refreshed a bit.
The former judges who will continue to act this year as well are: Shiri Maymon (Israel, Eurovision 2005), Keren Peles, Ran Danker Itay Levi, Assaf Amdursky, and Eden Hasson.
Regarding the selection of the song, we will still have to wait.
In most cases, Israel opens a submission window for the song shortly after the grand final of “Hakohav Haba“.
The only difference was in 2016, where the list of songs became known just before the final.
Eden Golan represented Israel at Eurovision 2024 with the song “Hurricane”.
She finished in 5th place with 375 points.
Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th and 17th of May 2025
