Ireland has selected its song and artist for Junior Eurovision 2024.
National broadcaster RTÉ organized the national selection for “Junior Eurovision Éire 2024”
3 acts qualified for the final
The line-up was:
- Lottie O’Driscoll Murray
- Isla McManus
- Enya Cox Dempsey
Each of them performed 2 covers, one of a Eurovision song.
The Results
The results were based on a jury panel of 3 members, one of whom was Linda Martin (who represented Ireland at Eurovision in 1983 and 1992).
In the 2nd round, the 2 super-finalists Lottie and Enja, performed the same song, which was written to represent Ireland in Junior Eurovision 2024.
The winner of the second round was Enya Cox Dempsey, and therefore is set to represent the country in Madrid on the 16th of November 2024
She will perform the song “Le Chéile” (Eng: Together)

About Enya Cox Dempsey
Enja lives in Castlecomer in County Kilkenny, together with her mom Róisín.
Recently, she has also started playing the drums.
Her biggest dream is to become a pop star.
Jessica McKean represented Ireland in Junior Eurovision 2023 with “Aisling”.
She came in last place.
The 22nd edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, organized by the EBU, will take place in Madrid, Spain on 16th November 2024.
