Ukraine: “Vidbir 2025” Longlist Artists Have Been Unveiled

Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne will choose its Eurovision entry via “Vidbir 2025” (the national selection for Eurovision 2025)

Tina Karol, who represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2006, will be the musical producer of “Vidbir 2025”

Today, the 20 artists who have qualified for the live auditions have been revealed:

Some of them are known among Eurovision fans, due to their former participations in “Vidbir”:

KHAYAT has participated in “Vidbir 2020”.
YAGODY and Ziferblat took part in “Vidbir 2024”.
KRYLATA and TESLENKO have competed in the wild-card round for “Vidbir 2024”

Vidbir 2025 – Known Details

A total of 374 songs have been submitted for “Vidbir 2025″.
The professional jury selected 20 songs to advance to the live auditions.
Thereafter, 9 artists will be shortlisted to participate in the national final. The public will be able to grant a wildcard to additional artists among the 11 remaining artists.
The list of the 9 finalists will be revealed by the 20th of December 2024.
The list of 10 finalists will be revealed by the 17th of January 2025.
“Vidbir 2025” will probably be held in February 2025.
The winner will be determined by a combination of public vote and local jury panel.

So far, Ukraine is the only country which has always qualified for the final!

Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2024 with the song “Teresa & Maria”.
They finished in 3rd place with 453 points
