Moldavian broadcaster TRM has announced that they went through the submissions and selected the artists who will move forward to the audition stage.
The list of participants who will attend the audition stage will be revealed on 13th January 2025 after 16:00 Chișinău time (15:00 CET).
They also stated that:
”Teleradio Moldova Company informs that all applications submitted for participation in the National Stage Eurovision 2025 will be meticulously analyzed by the organizing committee. The files that meet the eligibility criteria will proceed to the next stage, namely the live auditions.
We note that all official information regarding the Eurovision competition will be available exclusively on these sources. The organizers encourage participants and fans to ignore any fake news or unconfirmed statements appearing online, erroneously attributed to Teleradio Moldova representatives.
To avoid confusion and misinformation, we urge you to verify any information directly on the official website and authorized communication platforms.”
This statement can be regarded to ”AI songs” floating around the social media.
Unofficial sources claims that there were 50 submissions for Moldavian national selection Etapa Națională 2025.
Natalia Barbu represented Moldova at Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song ”In The Middle” and she came 13th Place with 20 points in Semi-Final 1.
Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th, and 17th of May 2025
