Today on 22nd January 2025 Finnish broadcaster YLE announced that band One Morning Left is disqualified due to rule violation.
Soon after band posted the statement that there were made grooming allegations to the lead singer which lead singer denning all the allegation and rest of band members decided to leave the band resulting the disqualification from competition.
One Morning Left supposed to participate at upcoming UMK 2025 with the song ”Puppy”.
Currently there are 6 entries running in UMK 2025 selection and they are:
- Neea River – “Nightmares“
- Nelli Matula – “Hitaammin Hautaan” (Eng: Slower to The Grave)
- Costee – “Sekaisin” (Eng: Tumbled)
- VIIVI – “Aina” (Eng: Always)
- GOLDIELOCKS – “Made Of“
- Erika Vikman – “ICH KOMME” (Eng: I’m Coming)
“UMK 2025” – Known Details
- “UMK 2025” will be held on Saturday, February 8th, 2025, at the Nokia Arena in Tampere.
- The “UMK 2025” entries will be revealed once per weekday between the 9th and 18th of January 2025.
- The results will be based on public vote and international jury vote
- Sanni and Jasmin Beloued will host the show
