Azerbaijan will select its song and artist for Eurovision 2025 via an internal selection.
Previously, we reported that 154 songs were submitted for the internal selection. local composers and lyricists wrote 49% of the entries.
The new Head of Azerbaijan’s Eurovision Delegation, Nurlana Jarafova, revealed that the national broadcaster Ictimati TV will reveal the artist for Eurovision 2025 in the first 10 days of February 2025. Later on, it was specified that the wishful day would be the 4th of February 2025
In addition, the song and the official video clip may be revealed by the end of February 2025. This is a different approach, as the country used to reveal its Eurovision entry usually in March, and is one the last countries to do so each year.
Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th, and 17th of May 2025.
