“San Marino Song Contest 2025” Semi-Finalists Have Been Announced

San Marino’s RTV broadcaster is getting closer to deciding its artist for Basel.
Over the last few days, the list of semi-finalists has been gradually revealed:

A total of 221 artists were shortlisted to compete in the semi-final. More than 1,200 artists applied to participate in the selection for Eurovision 2025

Among the participants, we can find some familiar names:

• Besa represented Albania in Eurovision 2024
• Atle Pettersen competed in the Norwegian “MGP” in 2021 and 2023
• Kida competed in “Une Voce Per San Marino”
• GRISANA and Teslenko were on the longlist for “Vidbir 2025“
• VALLERIA competed in the Moldovan selection for Eurovision (was due to compete in the 2025 edition as well)

“San Marino Song Contest 2025” – Known Details

1. The grand final is scheduled to take place on March 8th, 2025
2. Massimo Bonelli will be the artistic director of the selection, while Cristiano D’Alisera will take the production lead.
3. The new format will suggestively bring more transparency to the voting.

Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th, and 17th of May 2025.
