Croatia: “Dora 2025” Format and Additional Details Have Been Revealed

For the 7th year in a row, Croatia will select its Eurovision entry via the music festival “Dora”.
24 artists will compete in the national selection in the following running order:

Semi-Final 1 (27 February 2025)

  1. Matt Saft – “Welcome to the Circus
  2. Jelena Radan – SALUT!
  3. Nipplepeople – “Znak
  4. Swingers –”Ful Kul” (Eng: Fool Cool)
  5. Marta May – “Running to the Light
  6. LELEK – “The Soul of my Soul

  8. IVXN – Monopol
  9. Marko Tolja – “Through the Dark
  10. Magazin – AaAaA
  11. Natally – “Dom si srcu mom
  12. EoT – “Bye, Bye, Bye

“Dora 2025” – Known Details

  1. Barbara Kolar and Duško Ćurlić will host the shows
  2. “Dora 2025” will feature 3 shows:
    • Semi-Final 1: Thursday, February 27th 2025
    • Semi-Final 2: Friday, February 28th 2025
    • Grand Final: Sunday, March 2nd 2025
  3. In addition, 2 special non-competitive shows will be broadcast:
    • “The Blue Carpet” – Welcoming all the artists (February 26th)
    •  “Opatija bajna” – Special tribute to the city of Opatija and traditional music from 1960 (March 1st)
  4. Dora 2025” winner will be selected by combining an expert jury and a public vote.
  5. The voting format for the semi-finals will be based on the following mechanism:
    • 12 artists will compete in each semi-final, and 8 of them will make it to the final.
    • The semi-final results will be based on a 100% public vote.
  6. The voting format for the final will be:
    • 16 artists will compete in the final. The results will be based on a 50% jury votes and a 50% public vote
    • The jury will feature 8 different jury panels, each of them consisting 3 members.
    • 4 jury panels will be national jury: Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, and Osijek
    • An additional 4 jury panels will be international juries from Armenia, Finland, Slovenia, and Spain
    • The jury votes and public votes will add up to the same amount of points, so the votes will be based on a proportional system
  7. Each of the shows will see special guests who will perform their songs:
    • Nina Badrić (Croatia, Eurovision 2012) – Semi-Final 1
    • Alessandra (Norway, Eurovision 2023) – Semi-Final 2
    • Baby Lasagna (Croatia, Eurovision 2024) – Final

Croatia was allocated to perform in the second half of semi-final 1.
Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland, on the 13th, 15th, and 17th of May 2025
