Albania: “Festivali i Këngës 64” Song Submissions Have Been Announced

Albanian broadcaster RTSH has announced “Festivali i Këngës 64” will be held in December:

  1. Artists can submit their songs via email: festivali64@rtsh.al
  2. Elhaida Dani (Albania, Eurovision 2015) will be the artistic director of the festival for the 2nd time in a row.
  3. The submission window will open on September 1st, 2025, and will close on September 30th, 2025.
  4. The festival will be held in December 2025 and is likely to serve as the selection process for Eurovision 2026.
  5. The maximum song duration is 4 minutes.
  6. The use of AI is prohibited.
  7. The performer must be at least 16 years old.
  8. Songs must be original and must not have been published before being submitted.
  9. If the artist is applying for the first time, the submission will feature a photo and biography.
  10. The submissions should include:
    • The full song (in MP3)
    • Instrumental track with backing vocals (in MP3)
    • The lyrics (Word file)
    • Information about the performers and the songwriters.

Shkodra Elektronike represented Albania in Eurovision 2025
They performed “Zjerm” and ended in 8th place

Eurovision 2026 will be held in Austria in May 2026
