Today Bulgarian national broadcaster BNT has revealed 15 hopefuls trying their luck to represent Bulgaria at Eurovision 2026 and here are the names:

The national broadcaster signed a contract with PROPHON to identify potential artists to represent the country in the Eurovision 2026 competition. PROPHON will supply BNT with data on the 40 most-played Bulgarian artists across radio and television over the past eight months. This objective metric will serve as the basis for inviting performers to participate in the January selection round, eliminating subjective bias in choosing participants for the Eurovision national final.
The National Selection Format
- Bulgaria will select its Eurovision 2026 entry and artist in 3 phases. In other words, the selection will feature 3 shows
- The first show will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 21:00 CET
- 15 artists will compete and perform songs from their repertoire.
- The results will be based on a combination of jury vote and pubic vote.
- The national jury panel will include 5 members. They will be required to rank each performance in scale of 1-5 points.
- The public will be able to vote, with one vote per voter.
- The jury points for each artist will be the sum of points given by all jury members (overall, between 3 and 25 points per act).
- The public votes will be converted to 1-15 points, with 15 points to the the first place, and 1 point for the last place.
- 7 artists will qualify for the second show (or more, in case of a tie).
- The second show will be held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 at 21:00 CET
- 7 artists will compete and perform songs from their repertoire.
- The results will be based on a combination of jury vote and pubic vote.
- The national jury panel will include 5 members. They will be required to rank each performance in scale of 1-5 points.
- The public will be able to vote, with one vote per voter.
- The jury points for each artist will be the sum of points given by all jury members (overall, between 3 and 25 points per act).
- The public votes will be converted to 1-7 points, with 7 points for first place and 1 point for last place.
- The artist with the highest score will represent Bulgaria in Eurovision 2026!
- The third show will be held on Saturday, February 28th, 2026 at 21:00 CET
- BNT will won on creating songs to be discussed internally.
- The winner of the previous show will be requested to record 3 songs and perform them in the last show.
- A jury panel of 10 members will vote for each song. Each member will rank each song in the range of 1-3 points.
- The overall jury points will be converted to 3 points for the first place, and 1 point for the last place.
- The public votes will also be converted in the same way.
- The highest scored entry will be chosen as Bulgaria’s entry for Eurovision 2026.
- In case of a tie, the entry with the higher ranking by the public will be in advantage.
