Last May, Ukrainian singer-songwriter LELÉKA represented Ukraine in Eurovision 2026, following her win in the national final “Vidbir 2026″.
The EP shows the process behind creating the legendary “Ridnym” and showcases that not every Eurovision song was created just for Eurovision.

In recent days, more than a month after Eurovision 2026 was concluded, the singer released the “Ridnym Process” EP. The mini-album features 6 tracks, all of which are special versions of “Ridnym”.

1. Vyshyu
The track is based on electronic elements and samples the original vocals from the Eurovision version. The processed vocals feature several layers and effects. The verse suggests semi-industrial and club production. The remix and concept were made by Jako, who is LELÉKA‘s sound producer.
The sound of this version is closer to the DONBA₴GRL’s project, where LELÉKA is the lead vocalist.
2. Ridnym (Ukrainian Version 2025)
This is the original version submitted to “Vidbir 2026” before the first revamp.
This version was shortened. LELÉKA gave it a shape, made it less abstract and more concise.
Such that everyone who hears it has no chance of not understanding the message about Ukraine. Then it underwent certain changes, and a piece of DONBA₴GRL appeared in it.
The Bandora is dominant, and it is more of a classic ballad. We can also hear rich backing vocals and folk influences. This version is somehow more “dreamy”.
3. Ridnym (Transformation Version 2025)
This version resembles the Eurovision/Vidbir version, but its production is more exposed and naked. The main change is in the pre-chorus, where the “Vyshyu” part is replaced by a more folk-like and upbeat pre-chorus, performed in the Ukrainian language.
The second verse takes the listener by storm with powerful vocals and semi-electronic-folk production. The second chorus starts raw, based on pure piano playing, and then is transformed into the bowed string and classic chorus we know so well.
4.Ridnym (Intro 2022)
This is the very first version of the song, which was recorded back in 2022! The special intro was meant to convey the feelings of Ukrainians to speak in the background.
We can hear a Ukrainian grandmother thanking the defenders.
5. Ridnym (First Demo Version 2022)
As specified in the intro, this is the first version of the song, which was recorded in 2022.
The version is quite laid-back with some percussion elements, alongside the keyboards and string elements. The production is minimalistic, with emphasis on the pure, eternal vocals.
6. Ridnym (Acoustic Version 2026)
This version might be familiar to the listeners, as it has already featured in the official Eurovision YouTube channel as part of the Eurovision ALBM project.
The acoustic version highlights the Bandura contribution to the melody. The production is magical and simple. It also features quintet string elements. Vocally, we get excellent performance of long and high notes.
