Eurovision 2027: Greece Launches “Sing For Greece 2027”

Greek broadcaster ERT confirmed participation in Eurovision 2027.
Greece has managed to secure 2 Top 10 scores in the last 2 years, which strengthens the choice to select the Eurovision via “Sing For Greece 2027″
Konstantinos Tsolakis (ERT communication director) confirmed the news

Of course, we will take part in Eurovision 2027! Our representative will be selected through the extremely successful 
“Sing for Greece” selection process, which we have been running for two years.

“Sing For Greece 2027” – Known Details

1. The submission window opened on September 22nd, and will close on November 1st, 2026.
2. Submissions will be made online via ERT
3. The selection committee will listen to all submitted entries, and will shortlist up to 20 songs to participate in the shows.
4. The selection will feature 2 semi-finals and a final.
5. Up to 10 artists will compete in each semi-final, with 6 artists qualifying for the final.
6. The results of the semi-finals will be based on a 100% public vote.
7. Up to 12 artists will qualify for the final, where the results will be based on a 50% public vote, a 25% national jury, and a 25% international jury.
8. Performers have to be at least 18 years old by May 2027.
9. No language restrictions
10. The use of AI is prohibited.

Akylas represented Greece in Eurovision 2026.

Eurovision 2027 will be held in Burgas, Bulgaria on May 11th, 13th, 15th, 2027
