The Luxembourgish broadcaster RTL will use “Luxembourg Song Contest 2027” as the selection process for Eurovision 2027.
This year, submissions are split into 2 paths: one for artists and one for songs.
This weekend, 80 artists attend the audition phase before an expert jury.

Among the participants, we can recognize some familiar names like Daryss, Hugo One, Andrew The Martian, ShiroKuro, Carmen Luisa, and Luzac. All of them competed in the final of “The Luxembourg Song Contest”

RTL Luxembourg announced the names of 12 artists who advanced to the next phase.
- Carmen Luisa
- Clement Lerat
- Debbie M
- Gaïa
- Hugo One
- Jaya
- KIM
- Layso Roy
- Marco Misolic
- Maya Maunet
- Patricia Venâncio
- Perrine Thomas
Carmen Luisa was the lead singer of Rhythmic Soulwave (which competed in the “Luxembourg Song Contest 2025”), and Hugo One competed in “Luxembourg Song Contest 2026”
The artists were selected based on their vocal abilities, artistic identity, and stage presence.
The next phase will take place in November, during which artists will have the opportunity to find suitable songs through a collaborative creative process. At the end of this phase, we will get to know the finalists of the “Luxembourg Song Contest 2027“
Elisabeth Conter, Project Manager for ESC Luxembourg, commented:
We already noticed during the auditions that changing the structure of the selection process allowed us to discover completely new faces. These were people we had never come across before, who decided to take part because they were allowed to perform a cover. Now it’s about finding songs for these artists that fit into the world of Eurovision
