Very sad news this morning for Eurovision.
After a week with non official rumors about changing the delegationdteam or actoually quitting the contest the official statement was arrived
This morning the Bulgarian national broadcast BRT officially queeting 2019 contest due to financial reasons.

We are sad to announce that Bulgaria withdraws from #Eurovision. The decision is based on financial reasons because the costs of the project far exceed the financial capacity of BNT according to the Management of the broadcaster— BNT Eurovision Bulgaria 🇧🇬 (@bg_eurovision) October 15, 2018
Bulgaria first joined the Eurovision in 2005. In 2014 they didn’t participate due to the same reasons so there is still hope we will see Bulgaria celebrates with us soon. We will miss you this year in Tel-aviv
