Portugal: Festival da Canção 2020 Songs Revealed

The Portuguese network RTP, has revealed the sixteen acts to participate in its famous national selection for Eurovision “Festival da Canção” 2020.

The selection mechanism will stay similar to last year. the songs will be presented live on a two semi-final shows. among the eight performances, the top 4 will continue to the grand final where they will battle for one golden ticket that comes with the honor of representing Portugal in Rotterdam.

“Festival da Canção 2020” dates are:

  • 1st Semi-Final (22 February 2020) host by Tania Ribas de Oliveira & Jorge Gabriel
  • 2nd Semi-Final (29 February 2020) host by José Carlos Malato & Sonia Araujo
  • The Grand Final (7 March 2020) host by Filomena Cautela & Vasco Palmeirim

All the songs are now available to listen and this is how the semi’s allocations look like

1st Semi-Final (22 February 2020)

  • Blasted – Rebellion
  • Bárbara Tinoco – Passe-Partout
  • Elisa – Medo De Sentir
  • Filipe Sambado – Gerebera Amarela do Sul
  • Ian Mucznick – O Dia De Amanhã
  • J.Jazz – Agora
  • MEERA – Copo De Gin
  • Throes + The Shine – Movimento

2nd Semi-Final (29 February 2020)

  • Cláudio Frank – Quero-te Abraçar
  • Dub.Io feat. +351 – Cegueira
  • Elisa Rodrigues – Não Volte Mais
