Song #2 – Jan Johansen – Miraklernas Tid

Written by Thomas G:son

Jan Johansen – Miraklernas Tid

Earlier this week Jan Johansen was callet to replaces the original performer of the song Thorsten Flinck, as SVT report Thorsten is involved with some criminal charges. Johansen won the Melodifestivalen in 1995 with ”Se på mig” and finished in the third place when he represented Sweden in the Eurovision. He later participated in the Melodifestivalen three more times. “”Ingenmannsland” in 2001, “Sista andetaget” in 2002 and his last appeared in 2003 when he finished second in the final with the Pernilla Wahlgren duet “Let Your Spirit Fly“.

Behind “Miraklernas Tid” stands the Eurovision legend Thomas G:son who wrote hundreds of entries for the national finals worldwide and many Eurovision hits such as Loreen’s “Euphoria“, Carola’s “Invincible” and Spain’s 2015 “Amanecer” by Edurne.

Lyrics:

Ingenting kunde rädda mig men

Miraklernas tid

Ingenting kunde rädda mig men

Miraklernas tid

Ingenting kunde rädda mig men

Miraklernas tid
miraklernas tid lever än

Lyrics:

Wake me up
when I am old enough to care
about my rusty heart I swear

I will learn
Gotta be gentle say you mean
Whatever you do it’s all for me

I’m talking ’bout the wondering
I’m talking ’bout the little things
I’m talking ’bout the hunger
Give me love my love my love my love
you know I’m

I’m talking ’bout the love and pain
it’s messin with my brain
Oh You lift me up a thousand times
but when you hit it hurts like guns

I’m not bulletproof
I’m not bulletproof
ho ho
bulletproof

when you’re gathering up your army
just shoot me in the middle
where my heart’s supposed to be
The choir sings forever rest in peace

Care for me
though it’s too much for you to heal
show me your love and hold me near

Don’t back down
Oh You lift me up a thousand times
but when you hit it hurts like guns

I’m not bulletproof
I’m not bulletproof
ho ho
bulletproof

when you’re gathering up your army
just shoot me in the middle
where my heart’s supposed to be
The choir sings forever rest in peace

I’m not bulletproof
I’m not bulletproof
ho ho
bulletproof

when you’re gathering up your army
just shoot me in the middle
where my heart’s supposed to be
The choir sings forever rest in peace

I’m talking ’bout the wondering
I’m talking ’bout the little things
I’m talking ’bout the hunger
Give me love my love my love my love you know

I’m talking ’bout the love and pain
it’s messin with my brain oh
You lift me up a thousand times
but when you hit it hurts like guns

I’m not bulletproof
I’m not bulletproof
ho ho
bulletproof

when you’re gathering up your army
just shoot me in the middle
where my heart’s supposed to be
The choir sings forever rest in peace

I’m not bulletproof
I’m not bulletproof
ho ho
bulletproof

when you’re gathering up your army
just shoot me in the middle
where my heart’s supposed to be
The choir sings forever rest in peace

Lyrics:

Går i kläderna du hatat

Gör mig redo i salongen
Men ser nån nedanför balkongen

Hör dig ropa ut förlåt
men den här gången ska du gå
Du kommer aldrig in

Paul Rey - Talking in My Sleep

Lyrics:

I don’t want to wake up
Cause the left side of this bed
Used to have the shape of you

Maybe I should speak up
Cause I can’t get you out of my head
You’re all I want to wake up to

Cause
Lately I’ve been talking in my sleep
Cause the only place I see you is in my dreams

Every night it’s only us
So please don’t wake me up

Oh can you hear me
Lately I’ve been talking in my sleep

Putting on our playlist
But our songs don’t sound the same
Everything’s a sad song now
Mmhm

I just got to say this that
Ever since you went away
I just want to scream out loud
Ooooh yeah

Lately I’ve been talking in my sleep
Cause the only place I see you is in my dreams

Every night it’s only us
So please don’t wake me up
Oh can you hear me
Lately I’ve been talking in my sleep

Yeah don’t you go and say it’s gon’ be alright
I don’t want to hear that I’ll be fine

That’s what they all say
Yeah that’s what they all say

I’m telling you it won’t go away with time
I just want to spend my lonely nights
Closing my eyes

Cause
Lately I’ve been talking in my sleep
Cause the only place I see you is in my dreams

Ohooo Lately I’ve been talking in my sleep
Cause the only place I see you is in my dreams
And every night it’s only us
So please don’t wake me up
Oh can you hear me
Lately I’ve been talking in my sleep

Anna Bergendahl - Kingdom Come

Lyrics:

Just as cold as Siberia
As I crash into the sea

Been building on a theory
What if love won’t set you free

And if I just sit right here
Feel the waves come tumbling in

It all turns crystal clear
And the end’s where I’ll begin

And I swear I’m holding on ’til kingdom come

My kingdom come
And on and on and on
Forever I’ll let the light in
Put a price on my head keep fighting
For the lonely ones

My kingdom come
And on and on and on
Forever I’ll keep on singing
And this time maybe I’ll be winning
For the lonely ones
And I swear I’m holding on ’til kingdom come
My kingdom come

Just as hot as Sahara
I am your gladiator

Can you see the gloria
I’m the canvas you’re the painter

And if my knees are weak
I’m still a desert flower

Searching for the words to speak
In the very final hour
And I swear I’m holding on ’til kingdom come

My kingdom come
And on and on and on
Forever I’ll let the light in
Put a price on my head keep fighting
For the lonely ones

My kingdom come
And on and on and on
Forever I’ll keep on singing
And this time maybe I’ll be winning
For the lonely ones

And I swear I’m holding on ’til kingdom come
My kingdom come

And I swear I’m holding on ’til kingdom come
My kingdom come
And on and on and on
Forever I’ll let the light in
Put a price on my head keep fighting
For the lonely ones

My kingdom come
And on and on and on
Forever I’ll keep on singing
And this time maybe I’ll be winning
For the lonely ones

And I swear I’m holding on ’till kingdom come
My kingdom come
