Attention! Ulrikke Brandstorp Wins Norwegian MGP2020

Tonight, The Norwegian pre-selection has come to its final destination with the grand final of Melodi Grand Prix 2020

After five weeks of semi-finals on Fornebu’s H3 Arena, the show has relocated to  Trondheim Spektrum arena for the grand final celebration. on the stage performed tonight a total of 10 acts: the five semi’s winners plus the five acts automatically qualified for the final in this running order:

  • 01 – Raylee – Wild
  • 02 – Didrik & Emil Solli-Tangen – Out of Air
  • 03 – Magnus Bokn – Over The Sea
  • 04 – Akuvi – Som Du Er
  • 05 – Kristin Husøy – Pray For Me
  • 06 – Rein Alexander – One Last Time
  • 07 – Tone Damli – Hurts Sometimes
  • 08 – Sondrey – Take My Time
  • 09 – Ulrikke Brandstorp – Attention
  • 10 – Liza Vassilieva – I Am Gay

After all the songs were presented to the audience 4 entries have qualified for the second round. the four qualifiers are:

  • Kristin Husøy – Pray For Me
  • Ulrikke Brandstorp – Attention
  • Raylee – Wild
  • Liza Vassilieva – I Am Gay

At the end of another voting, the final 2 qualify for the superfinal are:

  • Kristin Husøy – Pray For Me
  • Ulrikke Brandstorp – Attention

To announce the results NRK invited the spokespersons from each Norwegian zone:

  • Central Norway: Margaret Berger (Norway 2013 Representative)
  • South Norway: Tom Hugo (Norway 2019 Representative 2019 as part of KEiiNO)
  • West Norway: Bjørn Johan Muri (Norsk Melodi Grand Prix 2010 4th Place)
  • East Norway: Åge Sten Nilsen (Norway 2015 Representative as part of WigWam)
  • North Norway: Agnete (Norway 2016 Representative)

As the voting ended, it was announced that Ulrikke Brandstorp will sing  “Attention” in Rotterdam.

Last year in Tel-Aviv, KEiiNO finished 5th in the grand final with “Spirit in the Sky”. will Ulrikke do better this year?
