The Israeli broadcast, KAN, is gearing up for Rotterdam!
Earlier this year, Israel has chosen its representative for Eurovision 2020 through the reality show “Hakohav Haba Le’Eurovision” and has decided the 19-year-old Eden Alena for the mission.
Now, the part two of the Israeli selection is about to start. Out of 248 songs received, Kan has selected for Eden 4 potential songs that were premiered this afternoon on Reshet Gimel radio station.
Eden will perform the songs live next Tuesday in a special selection show “Hashir Haba Le’Eurovision”. The show running order has been raffled a week ago, starting the show with “Savior In The Sound” and ending with “Feker Libi” and here they are for the first time:

Stav Beger is half of the duo that co-wrote “Toy” for Netta in 2018. ever since Stave is one of the busiest music producers in Israel and stands beside Israel’s biggers hit of 2018 Omer Adam “Shnei Meshugain” reached 60M views on YouTube.

Idan Raichel is one of the most appreciated musicians in Israel known for his “Idan Raichel Project”. Idan performed last year in Tel-Aviv’s interval act
Doron Medali is the Israeli Mr. Eurovision. He wrote and composed the Israeli entries for Eurovision 2015 (Nadav Guedj – Golden Boy), Eurovision 2016 (Hovi Star – Made of Stars) and Eurovision 2018 winning song “Toy” For Netta. He also directed the Israeli entry for the Eurovision three times Boaz Ma’uda (2008), Harel Skaat (2010), and Moran Mazor (2013).
The song selection will take place next Tuesday, March 3rd, 2020 (20:30 CET) and will be hosted by the Eurovision 2019 host Lucy Ayoub. The Israeli entry will be determined 50/50 by a special jury committee and the public votes on the official broadcaster app (IOS | Android). on the show about to perform Kobi Marimi, represented Israel last year in Tel-Aviv with the song “Home”
