Benny Cristo Reacts To The Revamp Reactions With A NEW Version Of “Kemama”

CZECH REPUBLIC

Earlier this week, the Czech Republic representative for the upcoming Eurovision song contest, Benny Cristo, released a new version for his entry “Kemama”. the revamped included new guitar layers played by Tugi Mlamba and added a different feel to the song, which wasn’t in the same line with the contest’s fans and sadly got slayed on social media with negative reactions.

The artists didn’t stay behind and shared his emotion with his followers saying “For those who dont know me.. I kind of like to face obstacles and challenges head on and I dont care much if people see me do a mistake. With that being said, I need to find out if a mistake was actually made or if the outrage comes from a tough adaptation to make for an ear already used to the old version. Those who still believe in me i beg for patience and understanding 💁🏽‍♂️ I have no ego when it comes to mistakes me and my team do in process, but i need to know if they were even made ❤️ Thanks for your interest in my creations guys, sending love from 🇨🇿”

Today, without previous notice, the revamped that was published just a few days ago was removed from the Eurovision’s official channel. instead, Benny presents his “rethinking” decision to the world with a new version, the third in number, for “Kamama”.

As the feedbacks regarding the 3rd version has started to stream, Benny himself has decided to put a note in the Video’s feedback in  Youtube saying: So even the reuploaded version was a bad export 🤦🏽‍♂️ I have not much more to say, trust me this whole thing is the worst that can happen to an artist, but regarding current situation all over the world, I apply extra patience and understanding to all the people I work with and I ask you for the same. Please give it one last listen ❤️ I WILL DO A LIVE STREAM AT 15:00 ON MY BENNYCRISTO IG IN ENGLISH WHERE YOU CAN ASK ALL THE QUESTIONS YOU WANT AND GIVE ME A WELL DESERVED HELL, I WILL TAKE IT 🙏🏾 With that being said, let me repeat.. “Thank you so much for your immediate feedback regarding the revamp of Kemama! It helped me and my team to realize that the master of the track was not completed and that we need to make it the best it can be. With the approval of the Eurovision Song Contest team at the EBU, we were allowed to finalize the mix exactly how we wanted it to be and now we are 100% happy with it. This final revamp is exactly how we wanted it to sound and we hope you’ll forgive us little delay and some bumps in the road in achieving this. Thanks for your understanding and patience, Benny ❤️🙏🏾”

What do you think of the song now?

I've started to follow Eurovision back in 1987 while I was only 4 years old. Ever since that night, Eurovision became my biggest passion. I created ESCBEAT to make sure that Eurovision music will stay forever and built the biggest Eurovision archive exist on streaming platforms
