Andorra is Considering an Eurovision Comeback

Susanne Georgi who represented Andorra at Eurovision 2009, is determined to see her country returning to Eurovision.
For a long time, Susanne has tried to persuade the broadcaster and the government to support Andorra’s comeback to Eurovision.

Susanne Georgi has achieved a private sponsor that agreed to cover the costs of participating in the contest. Thereafter, she talked to Andorran president Xavier Espot and RTVA director Xavier Mujal .
According to Susanne, there is a verbal agreement of the broadcaster and the government for returning to the contest. However, due to the corona pandemic , the country is planning to compete again at Eurovision 2022.

What about Susanne Georgi ?
In the past, the singer considered to be the head of delineation. Nevertheless, at the moment she isn’t interested in the role anymore. Therefore, it can be inferred that the singer see herself as a leader candidate to represent the country in the contest.

The country participated 6 times in the contest , in the years 2004 – 2009 and has never qualified for the final. Its best result was in 2007, ending 12th in the biggest semi-final ever that included 28 participants.
