The road to “Melodifestivalen 2021 is getting further as SverigesRadio has announced P4 Nästa 2020 Eight finalists of SverigesRadio.
In the past few months P4 Nästa 2020 had its tour around Sweden’s 25 local radio stations and selected the Top25 among a total of 125 candidates (5 songs in each area).
Today, the radio station has announced the final Eight songs moving forward to the final selected by jury of professionals.the lucky winner will win a ticket to compete in Melodifestivalen 2021 with a new song (as for the competing songs cannot be released before September 1st). and here they Are:
- Alicia Jern – Friendzone (P4 Skaraborgs)
- Sanna ft. Re:Bond – Aldrig det (P4 Västmanlands)
- Amskøld – Standby (P4 Jämtlands)
- Nina Bring – Nära (P4 Västernorrlands)
- Northlight – Equally different (P4 Värmlands)
- Hilde & Erik – Som det är (P4 Malmöhus)
- Julia Alfrida – Dark doom (P4 Stockholms)
- Agnes Rehn – Goodbye (P4 Kronobergs)
The online voting is now open at sverigesradio website and the results will be announced during a live show to take place on September 12. Last year Tim Lööv has won the contest but the ticket for Melfest was given to Amanda Aasa. later she participated in Melodifestivalen 2020 3rd semi finals but didn’t qualify for the final
