Bosnia & Herzegovina Won’t Participate at Eurovision 2021

The Bosnian national broadcaster BHRT has confirmed today what we all have already suspected: Bosnia & Herzegovina won’t participate at Eurovision 2021.

The country actually would like to participate in the contest. However considering the financial debt to the EBU, the country is under sanctions that prevent Eurovision participation.

The country best result was is 2006 with the song “Lejla” by Hari Mata Hari‘:

The last time where the country participated was in 2016. The group Dalal & Deen feat. Ana Rucner and Jala  represented the country with “Ljubav Je” and didn’t make it to the final:

The financial issue of the Bosnian broadcaster isn’t a surprise. The country have already withdrawn from the content in the years 2013-2015 due to that reason.
