Bulgaria’s Entry For Eurovision 2021 Will Be Reveled Only In March 2021

Victoria Georgieva was internally selected as the Bulgarian representative for Eurovision 2020 .
Following the Covid-19 pandemic, Eurovision 2020 contest was cancelled.
Victoria should have performed the song “Tears Getting Sober“:

However, the Bulgarian broadcaster BNT internally selected the singer for Eurovision 2021.

In August 2020, BNT held a special Eurovision songs writing camp called “The Black Sea Eurovision Songwriting Camp“.However, not only Victoria presented in the camp, but also other Eurovision artists , such as Ben Dolic (Germany 2020) and Gjon Tears (Switzerland 2020+2021).
Several composer and writes attended the camp, such as Cesár Sampson (Austria 2018), Borsilav Milanov (the writer behind the following Eurovision acts: Bulgaria 2020, Malta 2020, Germany 2020, North Macedonia 2017, Austria 2018, Malta 2019, Azerbaijan 2019 and more)


At the end of the camp, the Bulgarian entry for Eurovision 2021 was selected. However, the song will be ready (after revamp, editing, recording and production) only in January 2021.
BNT is planning to reveal the song only in March 2021, which means Bulgaria will be again one of the last countries to expose their Eurovision song.
