Montaigne (Jessica Alyssa Cerro) is the Australian singer songwriter who won the national final “Australia Decides 2020”.

She should have represented Australia at Eurovision 2020 with the song “Don’t Break Me“.
However, The Covid-19 pandemic led do the cancellation of Eurovision 2020.
The Australian broadcaster SBS have decided to chose internally the singer as the representative for Eurovision 2021.
Yesterday, the singer had a live stream via Twitch.
According to the Aussievision website, the singer raveled some details about her song for Eurovision 2021.
First of all, we will emphasize that the final song for Montaigne will be determined not only by the singer herself, but also by the broadcaster.
Montaigne reveled that she had the option to address foreign writers in order to create a hit. Nevertheless, the singer was happy to get the opportunity to represent her country. Therefore, she is strongly believe that she should come up to Eurovision 2021 not only as a singer, but also as the writer and composer of the desired song.

The most interesting thing was the fact that Montaigne has already finished to write her wishful song for Eurovision 2021. We know that the name of the song is “JC Ultra!“. The song was named following the project MK-Ultra
MK-Ultra Who?

This is an American project by CIA that was used as mind control program. The aim of the illegal project was fulfilling experiments on human subjects. The experiment were made for developing drugs and medicines . The project was officially announced as illegal in 1973.

Therefore, we can expect the singer will come with a song that will engage in social subjects. However, it is possible that the “MK-Ultra” will be used as a metaphor fםr destructive relationship.
It is still early to determine whether the song will be selected as the Australian act for Eurovision 2021. as we’ve mentioned earlier, Montaigne will have to get the permission of SBS to send that specific song.
