According to Barbara Kolar (one of “Dora 2021 hosts), “Dora 2021” will have a new method of voting comparing “Dora 2020“.

In fact, we will get something similar to the “Melodifestivalen” voting method.
Each juror will have to rank his/her top acts (Lets say top 10 in the scale of 1-8, 10 ,12 points). Therefore each juror will have 58 points to give. For example, if 10 juror will take part, the jury voting will be summed to 580 points. The public voting will be translated in percentages regrading the amount of points all the jury gave together (in our example). Therefore, if an artist will get 10% of the public voting, he/she will receive from the public 58 points.
The winner will be the artists with the highest combined results.
The method meant to decrease the probability of a tie between 2 or more artists.

Elena Tsagrinou posted an official announcement about the date when the song will be revealed : on Wednesday the 24th of February 2021.
The song will be “El Diablo” (Eng: “The Devil“) and it about falling in love with someone as bad as El Diablo. it was composed and produced by Jimmy Thornfeld, Laurell Barker, Oxa, and Thomas Stengaard
