Denmark has decided: Fyr & Flamme will represent the country at Eurovision 2021 with the song
“Øve os på hinanden”. The song and the artist have been chosen via the mechanism of “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2021“:
The 8 competing acts were:
- Chief 1 and Thomas Buttenschøn – Højt over skyerne
- Nanna Olivia – Hvileløse Hjerter
- The Cosmic Twins – Silver Bullet
- Claudia Campagnol – Abracadabra
- Mike Tramp – Everything is alright.
- Fyr & Flamme – Øve os på hinanden
- Emma Nicoline – Står lige her
- Jean Michel – Beautiful

The results were only determined by public voting.
First round – all 8 artists competed and performed their songs.
At the end of the first round, the top 3 candidates qualified for the final:
Fyr & Flamme
Chief 1 and Thomas Buttenschøn
Jean Michel
At the end of the second round, the winner was announced:
Chief 1 and Thomas Buttenschøn ended up in the 3rd place with 29% of the votes:
Jean Michel ended up in 2nd place with 34% of the votes
Fyr & Flamme won the public vote with 37% of the votes:
Therefore, Fyr & Flamme will carry the Danish flag at Rotterdam.
Denmark will compete in the second half of semi-final 2 at Eurovision 2021.
