Israeli singer Sarit Hadad, who represented Israel at Eurovision 2002 came out of the closet as a lesbian today.

It was one of the top secrets of the Israeli entertainment industry, even though many Israelis already suspected this.
One day before her 43 birthday, singer -songwriter Sarit Hadad made it official and announced her identity as a lesbian.
Furthermore, the singer released a new song – “אהבה כמו שלנו” (Ahava Cmo Shelanu) which translates into English as “a love like ours”:
In the video clip we can see Sarit with her girlfriend Tamar Yahalomi – an Israeli singer and composer who rose to fame after participating in the 9th season of “Kochav Nolad” (Eng: A star is born)

Who is Sarit Hadad?
Sarit Hadad is a 43 year old Israeli singer – songwriter. She represented Israel at Eurovision 2002 with the ballad “Light a Candle” and ended up 12th in the final.
She is considered one of the most famous singers in Israel. She started her career in 1994 and has already released 24 studio albums.
