Belgian Singer Claude Lombard Passed Away

The sad news came yesterday when Belgian singer Claude Lombard passed away.
Claude Lombard was a Belgian singer who represented her country in Eurovision 1968 with the song “Quand tu reviendras” and ended up 7th:

In Eurovision 1973, she was one of the backing vocalists of Belgium’s entry “Baby, Baby” performed by Nicole & Hugo.

Claude Lombard was born in 1945. In the 1970’s she moved to France.
She co-wrote a successful musical called “Attention – fragile“.
Later on, she had an impressive career as a voiceover artist. She contributed her voice to many animations like: Flo and the Swiss Robinson Crusoes, The Little Lord, The Snorky, Embrasse-moi Lucile, Pollyanna and many movies like: Beauty and the Beast, The Prince of Egypt and Fraggle Rock.

She has also often collaborated with Charles Aznavour, for whom she was the backing vocalist from 1980s until her death.
