Spain: 4 Qualifiers From “Benidorm Fest 2022” Semi-Final 2 Revealed

Tonight was all about Spain as the country’s journey continued with the second semi-final of “Benidorm Fest 2022

The hosts of the show were Alaska, Inés Hernand, & Máximo Huerta.

7 artists performed on the stage today:

  1. Xeinn – Eco
  2. Marta Sango – Sigues en mi mente
  3. Javiera Mena – Culpa
  4. Gonzalo Hermida – Quién lo diría
  5. Rigoberta Bandini – Ay Mama
  6. Rayden – Calle de la llorería
  7. Sara Deop Make you say

During the vote, Ruth Lorenzo and Niña Polaca performed as special guests.
Ruth represented Spain at Eurovision 2014.

Finally, closing the night is the moment we’ve all been waiting for: the results!

The scoreboard after the jury votes, with 50% of the votes, looked like this:

2nd phase, adding the 25% belongs to the demoscopic jury (350 people that represent whole Spain) votes. The scoreboard has now changed and is looking like this:

Lastly, the televote results with the last 25% of the evening. After all the numbers have been calculated, we are finally revealing tonight’s winners:

This means that unfortunately we are saying goodbye to to Marta Sango, Javiera Mena and Sara Deop and they are now out of the race to represent Spain this year in Turin

On Saturday, the 8 qualifiers will perform again in the grand final.
One of them will represent Spain at Eurovision 2022:

  2. Tanxugueiras – Terra
  3. Blanca Paloma – Secreto del agua
  4. Varry Brava – Raffaella
  5. Rigoberta Bandini – Ay Mama
  6. Rayden – Calle de la llorería
  7. Xeinn – Eco
  8. Gonzalo Hermida – Quién lo diría
