Lithuania held tonight the grand final of its national selection Pabandom iš naujo 2022.
Early Rounds:
A total of 36 entries have started in the race for the honor to represent the Baltic country at the next Eurovision Song Contest in Turin.
Beginning off January 8, Lithuanian broadcaster LTR had phenomenal work delivering a weekly live show consisting of the country’s best talents. with 2 artists who needed to withdraw from the contest (Alekas, Monika Linkytė), 34 spectacular acts were presented to the public and got to a shortlist of to 8 during 3 Heats and 2 semi-final rounds.
The Final:
Pabandom iš naujo 2022 grand final took place tonight from LRT studios and was hosted by Giedrius Masalskis, Ieva Stasiulevičiūtė, and Richardas Jonaitis.
On the jury panel remains Ramūnas Zilnys, Gerūta Griniūtė, Vytautas Bikus, Stanislavas Stavickis-Stano, Eurovision 1999 representative Aistė Smilgevičiūtė, Ieva Narkutė, and “The Roop” lead singer Vaidotas Valiukevičius (Eurovision 2020, 2021 Representative).
The Eight finalists performed their entries in the running order below:

The Results:
After all the acts have been performed, we can feel the tension in the air and it is now time for the results. Like in the show’s earlier rounds the votes will be divided between the jury and the public.

Therefore Monika Liu will fly to Turin to represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song ”Sentimentai”.
At Eurovision:
Lithuania will participate in the first half of semi-final 1 of Eurovision 2022 on 10אי םכ May 10, 2022 and will move forward to the grand final on May 14, 2022 if qualify
