Melodifestivalen 2022: Semi-Final 5 (Second Chance) Allocation Draw Results

Sweden is getting ready for Melodifestivalen 2022 semi-final!

The famous week 5 of Melodifestivalen usually known as “andra chansen” (second-chance) is getting a facelift for the first time in many years and is now called the semi final.

Now, after all the 28 songs participating in this season have been revealed it is time to decide who else is joining the 8 finalists chosen in the previous rounds.

The 3rd and 4th places from each heat 1-4 will battle for 4 tickets to next week grand final in Friends arena, Stockholm. During a live broadcast set by the Swedish TV network SVT, The 8 acts were draw into Two groups.

Group 1

  1. Tone Sekelius – My Way
  2. Alvaro Estrella – Suave
  3. Danne Stråhed – Hallabaloo
  4. Anna Bergendahl – Higher Power

Group 2

  1. THEOZ – Som du vill
  2. Lisa Miskovsky – Best to Come
  3. Lillasyster – Till Our Days Are Over
  4. Cazzi Opeia – I Can’t Get Enough

** The performance rrunning order was decided by the Melfest producers.

As similar to the shole contest voting. here too, the voting will be divided by age voting groups. The Two act with the most votes in total from each group will qualify for the final. there they will join the Eight acts already qualified in the earlier rounds:

  • Robin Bengtsson – Inocent Love
  • Liamoo – Bluffin
  • John Lundvik – Änglavakt
  • Faith Kakembo – Freedom
  • Anders Bagge – Bigger Than The Universe
  • Klara Hammarström – Run To The Hills
  • MEDINA – In I Dimman

Melodifestivalen 2022 Grand final will take place on March 12, 2022 where the Swedish entry for Turin will be chosen.

Sweden will compete in the second half of semi-final 2 on the 12th of May 2022.
If Sweden qualifies, the country will participate in the grand final on the 14h of May 2022
