Israeli Delegation Will Attend Eurovision 2022 in Turin!

On the 12th of April, we reported that the ongoing strike of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs made it impossible for the Israeli delegation to arrive in Turin.

Every year, Israeli participation depends on fulfilling the security protocol, as the country and its citizens might be exposed to terror attacks, even outside of the country.
The mentioned strike prevents the involvement of the relevant employees and should ensure and secure Israel’s participation.
In fact, this group of people should visit Turin before the beginning of the rehearsals.

However, with the involvement of the head of SGG, it seems like things have been resolved!
According to reports in the Israeli news media, the Israeli delegation will fly to Turin in 2 separate groups.
The first group (including Michael himself) will arrive in Turin on the 1st of May.
The second part of the delegation will arrive in Turin on the 8th of May.

Michael will sing the song “I.M“:

Michael Ben David will perform in the 2nd slot of semi-final 2, on Thursday the 12th of May.
If Israel qualifies, the country will compete in the grand final on the 14th of May.
Israel’s first rehearsal will take place on Monday, the 2nd of May
