The BBC has confirmed that the United Kingdom will participate in Junior Eurovision 2022.
The UK, that will host Eurovision 2023, will also take part in the Junior Eurovision 2022 which will be held on Sunday, the 11th of December 2022 in Yervan, Armenia.
It will be the 4th time that the UK will participate in the Junior Eurovision Contest.
Previous participations were in the years 2003, 2004 and 2005.
In 2005, Joni Fuller represented the country and ended up in 14th place:
While in 2003 and 2004, the country managed to finish in the top 3.
The contest will be broadcast live on CBBC, BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
In fact, this will be the first time that Junior Eurovision participation will be under the responsibility of the BBC.
