Sudden Lights Wins SUPERNOVA 2023 and Will Fly To Liverpool

A week has passed since the Latvian broadcaster LTV held the semi-final “Supernova 2023” and tonight comes the moment of truth where the next Latvian representative will be revealed.

On tonight’s show hosted by Ketija Šēnberga and Lauris Reiniks, the Ten finalist acts performed their songs in the running order as follows:

  1. Alise Haijima – Tricky
  2. Luīze – You To Hold Me
  3. Raum – Fake Love
  4. Toms Kalderauskis – When It All Falls
  5. Artūrs Hatti – Love Vibes
  6. Patrisha – Hush
  7. Sudden Lights – Aijā
  8. 24. Avēnija – You Said
  9. Avéi – Let Me Go
  10. Markus Riva – Forever

The results were based on a 50/50 combination of the public and jury votes

Last year in Turin, Raised the Latvian flag were the group Citi Zēni and their “Eat Your Salad”. The band did not make it to the grand final and collected only 55 points that ranked them in 14th in the first semi-final.
