Denmark: Reiley Wins DMGP 2023 and Will Fly The Danish flag at Eurovision

It is one of the oldest festivals of the season, and yes!! It’s about time for the 2023 edition to start!

The Danish selection for the Eurovision Song Contest DMGP2023 (Dansk Melodi Grand Prix) was held tonight live from the Næstved Arena in Næstved, and was hosted by Tina Müller and Heino Hansen

On the race to represent the country were these 8 acts:

  1. Frederik Leopold – Stuck On You
  2. Eyjaa – I Was Gonna Marry Him
  3. Micky Skeel – Glansbillede
  4. Maia Maia – Beautiful Bullshit
  5. Nicklas Sonne – Freedom
  6. Mariyah LeBerg – Human
  7. Søren Torpegaard Lund – Lige her
  8. Reiley – Breaking My Heart

Some former Eurovision winners were invited as guests as well

Emmelie de Forest (Eurovision 2013 Winner for Denmark)

Results:

In the first round of the evening, the Top 3 chosen by the public advanced to the Superfinal.

Micky Skeel – Glansbillede

Nicklas Sonne – Freedom

Reiley – Breaking My Heart

The Top 3 now perform their entries again and it is time for the final results wewe decided by a 50/50 combination of jury and public vote

Therefore, Reiley will represent Denmark in Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with his song “Breaking My Heart”.
He picked 43% of the votes!
Congratulations!

Denmark will compete in the first half of semi-final 2 at Eurovision 2023
Last year in Turin, Reddi and “The Show “represented Denmark. The band didn’t qualify for the final, ended the Eurovision journey in 13th place of semi-final1 with 55 points
