During the morning show “Pytanie na Śniadanie” on TVP, the national broadcaster revealed the list of participants in the national selection for Eurovision 2023:
“Tu bije serce Europy – Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję!” (Eng: The heart of Europe beat here – we choose a hit for Eurovision).

The submission window was planned to be open until the 15th of January 2023, however TVP chose to extend the deadline until the very recent days.
Around 300 entries have been submitted this year, and 10 of them have been shortlisted by the professional committee.
TVP also had the right to grant a wildcard to an additional artist.

As of February 15, 2023, ten acts have been announced to compete in Tu Bije Serce Europy. These acts were announced through TVP’s breakfast show, Pytanie na Sniadanie. The acts are listed in this article in the order that they were announced in the show.
1. Ahlena – Booty
Gdansk-based singer and producer Ahlena was the first act to be announced as an entrant to Tu Bije Serce Europy. She will be competing in the national final with her song “Booty” which is written by Magda Pawlowka and Maksymilian Niemczyk and produced by Max Deer and Magda Pawlowska. Her national final entry is now out on Spotify and carries a Parental Advisory warning due to the overtly sexual nature of its lyrics.
2. Blanka – Solo
Next on the list is the Polish-Bulgarian singer Blanka who has been shortlisted into the national final with her breakthrough single, “Solo”. “Solo” is written by Blanka in collaboration with Bartolomej Rzeczycki, Julia Sundberg, Maciej Puchalski, Marcin Goreki, Maria Broberg and Mikolaj Trybulec. At this point, the song has now over 2.8 million listens on Spotify while its music video has over 9 million views on Youtube.
3. Dominik Dudek – Be Good
The Voice of Poland Season 13 winner Dominik Dudek is the third act to be announced for Tu Bije Serce Europy. He will be competing with his song, “Be Good”, which will be released on February 16th.
4. Felivers – Never Back Down
Polish band Felivers is the fourth act to be announced for “Tu Bije Serce Europy”. They will be competing with the song “Never Back Down” which has yet to be released. It has been thought by fans that Felivers will be sending “Paradoks”, a single which they released two weeks ago.
5. Jan Majewski – Champion
Jan Majewski is the fifth act to be announced for “Tu Bije Serce Europy” and he will be competing with the song “Champion” which has yet to be released. Prior to TBSE, Jan had already appeared Szansa na Sukces Opole in 2020 performing the song “Wiosna.”
6. Maja Hyzy – Never Hide
Maja Hyzy is the sixth act to be announced for Tu Bije Serce Europy. Her song for the national final is called “Never Hide” and is written by Aleksandra Lewandowska and Wojciech Stekla. Wojciech Stekla also produced her own song.
7. Jann – Gladiator
Jann is the seventh act to be announced for Tu Bije Serce Europy with his song, “Gladiator”. His song had been included in the leaked list of shortlisted TBSE entries along with “Booty”, “Solo” and “Never Hide”. Jann is also a fan favorite to win TBSE shortly before the entries were announced today. “Gladiator” is written by Jann and produced by Jeremiasz Hendzel.
8. Natasza – LIFT U UP
Natasza is the eighth act to be announced for Tu Bije Serce Europy with her song “LIFT U UP”. The song is written by Natasza, Jan Bielecki and Twan Ray with Jan Bielecki serving as the song’s producer.
9. Alicja Szemplinska – New Home
Alicja Szemplinska is the ninth act to be announced for Tu Bije Serce Europy. She previously represented Poland in Eurovision 2020 and performed at Junior Eurovision 2020 and was the winner of The Voice Poland Season 10.
10. Kuba – You Do Me
Kuba is the tenth act to be announced for Tu Bije Serece Europy with his song “You Do Me” which has yet to be released. Kuba has previously competed in the national final last year with his song, “Lovesick”. He was a part of 4Dreamers which was one of the interval acts for Junior Eurovision 2019.
Out of the ten announced entries, only six songs have been released so far with one song to be released tomorrow (“Be Good”).
The remaining three entries have no announced release date yet. The live show for the national final will be this coming February 26th.
Poland will compete in the second half of semi-final 2 at Eurovision 2023.
