  • Sweden and Portugal will finalize list of finalists

The results will be based on a 50% public vote and a 50% national jury.
For the first time ever, the Moldovan public will be able to vote via online vote.
In addition, Theodor Andrei (who will represent Romania this year) and Sudden Lights (who will represent Latvia this year) will perform as special guests

Sweden will hold the 4th heat of “Melodifestivalen 2023“.
8 artists will compete for 4 spots in the final.
The 3rd and 4th place from each heat will try their luck in the semi-final.

Format

  1. The public vote will be divided and aggregated by the age groups: televoters, 3 – 9 years old, 10 –15, 16 – 29, 30 – 44, 45 – 59, 60 – 74, and 75+.
  2. The full results of the semi-final will be given in the Grand final Eurovision method. Think of each voter group as a country. This means we will have the full ranking of each semi – finalists at the end of the night.

Format

The results will be determined in 2 rounds:

  • Round 1 – Based on a 50% international jury vote and a 50% public vote.
  • Round 2 – Top 2 artists will qualify for the “Super-final”. The results will be based on the public vote.

An international jury will feature:

  2. Ilhan Haydar (a member of Reddi, Eurovision 2022) – Denmark
  3. Lovísa Elísabet Sigrúnardóttir (Icelandic musician)
