United Kingdom: Mae Muller Will Perform “I Wrote a Song” at Eurovision 2023

One of the last countries to reveal its artist for Eurovision 2023 is the host country: the United Kingdom!

As a reminder, this will be the second year in a row where the BBC collaborates with TaP Music to choose an artist for Eurovision.

According to unofficial sources, it seems that the BBC narrowed the selection to 4 female singers.
One of them was Mae Muller

Mae Muller will perform the song “I Wrote a Song” at Eurovision 2023, and you can listen to it here:
This is an upbeat pop song that aims at women’s empowerment.

She co-wrote her song with Brit-Nominated songwriter Lewis Thompson and Karen Poole, who has written for the likes of Kylie Minogue, Lily Allen and David Guetta, 

Who is Mae Muller

Mae Muller is a 25 year-old English singer, who lived in London.
She released her debut album “Chapter 1” in 2019, and rose to prominence in 2021.
In 2021, she released the single “Bette Days” that achieved great success in the UK, Australia, Ireland, Norway, USA and Sweden.

United Kingdom will compete in the grand final of Eurovision 2023.
