The Spanish broadcast RTVE had a surprising news for us this week and announced its candidate for the next Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Chosen internally among more than a hundred candidates is eleven years old Sandra Valero. 19 acts have made it to the final cut while the final vote has been made by a jury consisted of :Ana María Bordas, César Vallejo, Miriam García Corrales, Pablo Cebrián, Tony Sanchez-Ohlsson, Rayden and María Eizaguirre.

Sandra lives in Valencia and begun her musical career at the early age of four. The journey to Nice, which will host this year’s contest is now set on the fast lane and the search to find the perfect song that suite Sandra’s capabilities is at the forefront.
The song and videoclip will be released before the EBU deadline set for October 16.
Last year it was Carlos Higes and his “Señorita” sang for Spain. He ended up in the 6th position collecting 137 points.
Currently 15 countries are set to participate in Junior Eurovision 2023:

The 21st edition of the Junior Song Contest will take place at the Palais Nikaia venue in Niece, France on 26th November 2023.
