Serbia: Submission For “Pesma za Evroviziju 2024” Opened

On the 14th of July 2023, we have reported that Serbia will participate at Eurovision 2024.
Serbian broadcaster RTS will once again select an artist and a song via “Pesma za Evroviziju”.

This will be the 3rd year in a row that Serbia use the format of “Pesma za Evroviziju” as the formula for Eurovision.
Traditionally, the selection includes 2 semi-finals and a grand final and it is aired in the beginning of March.

“Pesma za Evroviziju 2024”

  • The submission window opened on August 1st, 2023 and will close on November 1st, 2023.
  •  A commission made up of music editors of RTS will shortlist the songs, based solely on their artistic quality. If no song meets the required musical quality, RTS has the right to independently choose the composition.
  • Submission will be sent only via this link
  • There are no restrictions regarding the language of the song

Luke Black represented Serbia at Eurovision 2023 with the “Samo Mi Se Spava“.
He ended up in 24th place with a total of 30 points.

Eurovision 2024

So far, the list of countries that have confirmed participation in Eurovision 2024 includes: Sweden, Norway, Finland, Israel, Moldova, Estonia, Austria, Cyprus, Denmark, Spain, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Malta, Serbia, Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, and Ukraine

Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-final will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11h of May 2024
