Irish languaged public brodcaster TG4 has revealed a trailer for upcoming Junior Eurovision Éire 2023.
Junior Eurovision Éire 2023 will begin on 3rd September 2023 at 21:30 CET. This means that is the schedule for the 6 shows as it fallows:
- Heat 1: 3rd September 2023
- Heat 2: 10th September 2023
- Heat 3: 17th September 2023
- Heat 4: 24th September 2023
- Semi Final: 1st October 2023
- Grand Final: 8th October 2023
Louise Cantillon and Darragh Ó Caoim will host the show and as it previous editions, and in studio jury of 2 permament members and rest are guest judges.
2 permament judges judges are:
- Niamh Ní Chróinín (Presenter on TG4 children’s channel Cúla4, manager of Irish-language youth radio station Raidió Rí-Rá)
- Aindriú de Paor (RTÉ 2fm, RTÉ Sport and Spórt TG4 presenter)
The first guest judge to be confirmed is Brooke Scullion who represented Ireland at Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
For the 2nd year in a row, a public vote will decide the winner in the final. The voting will be open after the semi-final is over. After the grand final for the Irish entry for Niece will specially composed for the winner.
Sophie Lennnon who represented Irland at Junior Eurovison 2022 and she sang ”Solas” finished in the 4th place with the 150 points.
Junior Eurovision 2023 will take place in Nice, France on 26th November 2023.
