After announcement that Estonia for very first time will participate at Junior Eurovision and they internally selected Arhanna Sandra Arbma after she won the Tähtede Lava 2022.
Arhanna is 11 years old. She is from Räpina and has been singing since she was 5 years old. She has performed and competed in many competitions across Estonia. She won Tähtede Lava in 2022. The competition was open to young singers aged between 3 and 15 years old and was chosen as the winner by the public.
During the yesterday’s episode of Ringvaade on ETV, Arhanna revealed that Karl-Ander Reismann will compose the music and Leelo Tungal will write lyrics.
Who are Karol-Ander Reismann and Leelo Tungal ?
Karl-Ander Reismaan
Karl-Ander has contributed many entries for Eesti Laul, a Estonian national selection for adult version of Eurovision Song Contest. Karl-Ander works such as ”Hope” ”Out In Space” and ”Laura (Walk with Me)”.
Leelo Tungal
Leelo Tungal wrote 2 Estonian entries for the Eurovision Song Contest Muretut meelt ja südametuld” by Janika Silamaa (1993) and “Nagu merelaine” by Silvi Vrait (1994).
An exact release date for Estonian entry for Junior Eurovision 2023 haven’t be revealed.
Junior Eurovision 2023 is set to take place on Sunday 26th November 2023 at 16:00 CET in Nice,France.
Okay, but next year, ERR should let Junior Eurovision candidates be involved in songwriting.
