Albania Confirms Eurovision 2024 Participation

This is another confirmation for Eurovision 2024: Albania confirmed they will compete in Eurovision 2024.

Albanian broadcaster RTSH has confirmed to Eurovoix the country’s intention to participate at Eurovision 2024.
Traditionally, Albania chooses an artist and a song via the traditional musical festival “Festivali i Këngës”. This year will mark the 62nd edition of the festival.
Last year, the Eurovision entrant was solely selected by the public for the first time.

Arbana Osmani will host the festival once again.
The festival is usually held close to the Christmas holiday. and that’s why Albania might select its Eurovision act at the end of December 2023.

The submissions for “Festivali i Këngës 62″ opened:


Albina & Familja Kelmendi represented Albania at Eurovision 2023.
They performed the song “Duje” and ended up 22nd in the final with a total of 76 points:

With this, Albania joins the list of countries that have confirmed participation in Eurovision 2024: Sweden, Norway, Finland, Israel, Moldova, Estonia, Austria, Cyprus, Denmark, Spain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Malta, Serbia, Switzerland, the UK, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Ukraine, Portugal, and San Marino, and Belgium

Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-final will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11h of May 2024
