German broadcaster ARD confirmed the county will take part in Eurovision 2025, thorough ESC Today website.
It is still early to know whether the country will select a song and an artist via a national selection on internally.
However, in the recent years (besides 2020 and 2021), Germany opted for a national selection.
The German broadcast network ARD consists of several national/regional channels. One of them is NDR that has been responsible for Eurovision selection since 1996.
It is unknown whether NDR will continue to lead the Eurovision project in Germany.
Earlier this year, German TV producer (and Eurovision 2011 host) Stefan Raab showed interest in creating a new format for the German selection.
According to DWDL, He will collaborate with media creator Daniel Rosemann.
It is possible the new format will involve the 4 German groups.
Isaak represented Germany at Eurovision 2024 with the song “Always On The Run”.
He finished in 12th place with 117 points
Eurovision 2025 will be held in Switzerland.
