Austria: The Selection Process for Eurovision 2025 Has Been Launched

Austrian broadcaster ORF has kicked-off its selection process for Eurovision 2025.
Ever since 2017, Austria has internally selected its Eurovision act.
Once again, the search and sorting will be led by ORF Eurovision scouts.
In recent years, Eberhard Forcher has led the project, alongside Peter Schreiber.

Information regarding the Eurovision 2025 selection process has been shared by Peter Schreiber, on his Instagram account:

Interested Austrian artists should contact him and send samples of their songs.
The emphasis will be on artists with a proven track record.
Suitable artists will then be invited to apply with an original song for Eurovision 2025.
The submission window is the 15th of September 2024.

It is expected that the internal selection will follow the same procedure as in previous years, where the Eurovision entry has been selected through live auditions in multiple rounds.
The format involved ORF management, Eurovision fan club and an expert jury.

Kaleen represented Austria at Eurovision 2024 with the song “We Will Rave”.
She finished in 24th place with 24 points

Eurovision 2025 will be held in Switzerland.

Doron Lahav is 30-year-old, who lives in Israel. Doron has been watching the Eurovision Song Contest since early 2000s. Doron works as a Data Scientist and shows interest in singing and writing.
