JESC 2024: Listen to North Macedonia’s Entry “Marathon”

Following auditions which were held in June 2024, MRT has internally selected Ana Vanchevska and Aleksej Ivanovski for Junior Eurovision 2024.

The song was composed by Lazar Cvetkovski, who was one of the composers of the North Macedonian entries in Eurovision 2011, 2013, and 2019, as well Albania 2020, and North Macedonia entry for JESC 2019
The lyricist is Magdalena Cvetkoska, who wrote North Macedonia entries in Eurovision 2013, JESC 2019 and more.

About Ana and Aleksej

Ana Vanchevska was born in March 2010, and has participated in numerous music festivals, while also excelling in her favourite subjects at school; mathematics, physics and French. 
In 2024, she has represented North Macedonia at the Sanremo Junior Festival.

Aleksej Ivanovski was born in December 2011 and has already made a name for himself performing in music competitions. The singer shares Ana’s enthusiasm for mathematics and French, and is also a keen learner of English.

Tamara Grujeska represented North Macedonia in Junior Eurovision 2023.
She performed “Kaži Mi, Kaži Mi Koj” and ended up in 12th place.

The 22nd edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, organized by the EBU, will take place in Madrid, Spain on 16th November 2024.

Doron Lahav is 30-year-old, who lives in Israel. Doron has been watching the Eurovision Song Contest since early 2000s. Doron works as a Data Scientist and shows interest in singing and writing.
